GRAPHIC DESIGN
Creative graphic designer with seventeen years' experience in visual concepts
Hello!
A Bit About Me
I am a Digital/UX Designer with experience in UI/UX design, graphic design, web design, marketing, and publishing. I am a strong, cross-functional collaborator and can efficiently develop visually compelling and conceptually strong solutions.
I have over 10 years of studio art practice, 17 years of graphic design, 4 years of UX design, 5 years of research experience, and 3 years of event planning.
I have certificates of Colorado Law and Practice, Colorado Legal Issues, Colorado Practical Applications, Colorado Contracts and Regulations, Colorado Closings and Colorado Recordkeeping and Trust Accounts with Colibri Real Estate, a Google UX Design Professional Certificate, a Master’s degree in Visual Communication from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Tianjin University of Commerce.
My experience in design has provided me with a wide range of assignments to create content for web, social platforms, and print. As a UX designer, I enjoy designing web applications and building prototypes for my clients to help create the best experience for their target users. I recently finished writing a book Design Principles of Chinese and English Logotype Matching that was published in July 2023 by Beijing Posts & Telecom Press, a top publisher of art and design books in China.
“I see Yinan as being an incredible Graphics Designer. She is well above average in her design skills, with the ability to create concepts and then execute them to a high level. When assigned a project or task, she approaches her work with a can-do attitude and then finds a way to deliver work on time with a clear approach. Yinan helps elevate the department’s work based on her seemingly intuitive creative sense. Yinan works diligently and effectively, maintaining a focus on deadlines and completing the projects with a high level of creativity. She has learned how to utilize the many department marketing channels we have, whether print, in-branch or digital. Thank you Yinan for your contributions to the marketing department’s as well as the credit union’s overall success.”
